Calangute to Ashvem Beach (Day 6)

Next day was potentially our most luxurious stay at regalia. On the way was the famous chapora fort, the location where dil chahta hai was shot. After the complimentary breakfast at ticlo , we reached the location in an hour or so. 500m hike from the parking and we were finally humming dil chahta hai. Now the problem was that we it almost afternoon and while the location and scenery was excellent , the bright day light was not a good time to take the shot for sure. So we just scouted the location and travelled directly to ashvem.

Regalia for sure was one of the best resorts ; the completely wooden structures were a treat and gave me ideas for my own future house. After ordering room service, some paneer burji, chappatis and french fries, it was time to get out and get some shots.

Ashvem beach located hardly 1Km away is known to be a quiet beach unlike the ones at calangute. Post packing our gear, we head to ashvem for a round of evening photography. The problem with flat beaches is that there is isn’t any good foreground; so I made use of whatever I had to get below.

Post a quick round of photography, it was time to head back for a relaxing time. But we were in goa and it was no time to relax. Post parking the car , we hunted around for dinner options. A pizza place (forget the name) seemed good and the decision was right. We ordered one veg risotto and veg pizza; served with olive oil and chilli oil, it was one of the best pizzas I ever had.

Post dinner, the only thing left was to chill at the regalia and prepare for the next day journey to Ticlo.
